Empower a Girl: For Self-Reliance

From 2016, Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) conducted an action research in Kole District Local Government of Uganda; and established that, children in the public primary schools in this area are performing poorly because of a number of weaknesses; however, inventions were made; the research revealed that: the major problem is being generated from the home of almost each and every child with the girl child most affected. KIFA intends to empower a girl child through Home Economics.

Educate at-risk girls, end poverty cycle: Thailand

Since 1990, more than 5700 girls living in poverty, orphaned, abandoned, from broken homes or unsafe environments, have come to Dhammajarinee Witthaya School (DWS) and received a secure home, quality education, food, clothing, medical and dental care. DWS is the only free boarding school for girls administered by Buddhist nuns in Thailand. DWS serves non-Buddhist students as well, with Buddhist activities being optional. Reducing PM 2.5 Pollution in Kanchanaburi Province

This project combats soil degradation and PM 2.5 pollution in Kanchanaburi by promoting agroforestry on 500 rai. It integrates groundcover herbs, economic crops, and hardwood trees to restore land, reduce burning, and improve soil fertility. Farmers receive training in organic methods, boosting income through herbal crops and carbon credits. This scalable model ensures lasting environmental and economic benefits.
